We provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate ABA services with a focus on Verbal Behavior to children with Autism between 2-10 years of age.

With an emphasis on Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior, we adapt a functional approach to language, making language effortless, efficient and most of all fun for our learners! Our naturalistic approach is child-led and motivation-driven, empowering each child with the tools required for communication, social engagement, and independence.

We firmly believe that every child has the ability to learn. It is the teacher who needs to understand the child’s learning style and modify their teaching strategy, to be an effective and efficient instructor. This basic understanding is backed by evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis- a research proven intervention methodology for children with autism.

Our Philosophy: You, Us, and Science.

Pairing

Building a positive rapport with the child and creating a trusting and motivating learning environment.

Trauma-Informed Care

Gaining the learner's trust & cooperation through a process of high-density reinforcement and low effort tasks.

Managing Task Effort

Interspersing difficult tasks with easy ones across programs, to increase fluency of responding.

Problem Behavior

Synthesized function based analysis for problem behaviors that helps build tolerance and increase safety in the real world.

Verbal Behavior

A function based analysis of language that ensures an overall grasp of the concept being taught, thereby avoiding rote learning.

Functional Skills

Developmentally appropriate skills are taught and/or immediately transferred into the natural context to promote generalization of skills.

We also believe in assisting the family in their efforts towards working with the child with autism.

Since children spend maximum time in the day with a family member, we believe that by training that family member, we are multiplying teaching opportunities for the child throughout the day, and thereby speeding up progress and learning. Not to mention the reduction in therapeutic costs.

We depend heavily on parents for inputs and continuity of teaching opportunities. We will always take time to discuss home or school issues that affect behavior or learning. Parents are encouraged to be active participants and ask questions. Parent training is an integral part of our philosophy and in maintenance and generalization of programs.

A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying
— B.F. Skinner

Our goal is to empower parents with teaching strategies to become powerful advocates for their child, disseminating accurate, effective, and up to date strategies rooted in behavior analysis.

Using a “You, Us and Science” approach, we believe that every child can reach her/his maximum and best potential.
